New Feature: Client-Verified Certifications

Introduction

We are excited to announce the introduction of the "Client-Verified" Certification type in TealBook. This new functionality empowers our clients with the ability to directly certify their suppliers as diverse, seamlessly integrating these certifications into their diversity spend analytics.

Feature Overview

The "Client-Verified" Certification type offers a new streamlined approach for our customers to identify and acknowledge the diversity status of their suppliers as part of their procurement operations. 

Key Benefits

Integration into Diversity Analytics: These client-verified certifications are directly integrated into the client's diversity spend, dashboards, and Standard Reporting Package (SRP) metrics, offering a comprehensive view of their supplier base.

Confidentiality and Control: Certifications added by our clients are confidential and are not visible to other buyers or suppliers, maintaining discretion and privacy in supplier relationships.

Utilizing the Feature

Adding Certifications: Please contact the Support Team with the attached template completed. We require the domain, cert.category, cert.subcategory be completed.  The cert.certExpiration field is optional. You can find this template attached at the end of this document.

domain:  the domain of the supplier which should received the new certificate

cert.certagency: Will always be 'client'

cert.category: The category of the certificate. Diversity, ISO, etc.
cert.subcategory: SBE, wbe, etc.
cert.source: Please ignore.

cert.clientOrgUnitId: Please ignore.
cert.certExpiration: Optional. Please use yyyy-mm-dd formatting. 

Impact on Qualification Rules: Once a supplier is certified by the client, these certifications play a crucial role in the client’s diversity qualification rules. This inclusion allows for a more accurate representation of the client’s diversity spend and supplier diversity status. Clients must have the "Client" qualification rule selected under "Other Agencies" in order for these certificates to have an effect.
