The Upload page in the Admin portal streamlines the process of sending spend data to TealBook for processing, enrichment, and analysis. The upload process includes checklists and context questions to help our team process your information seamlessly and avoid delays that may be caused by incomplete data or errors within the file.
The checklist within the upload steps also includes a link to a video tutorial to help ensure that the data you are providing complies with our system's requirements. For security, users must have Buyer Admin privileges to access the Upload page.
To upload your spend data:
- Navigate to the Upload page within the Admin portal.
- Click the + icon or Get Started button.
- Review and check each item off to confirm that your upload data fulfills each of the conditions on the checklist. Checklist items that are not marked as optional much be checked to move to the next step
Note: If you haven't completed the Vendor Master file yet and don't have the template accessible, you can download a new template by clicking the Vendor Master Template text on the bottom of the checklist. For help on completing the template click video for guidance. - Once you've confirmed that your upload data fulfills all upload requirements, click Next.
- Step 2 of 3 of the file upload process asks you to indicate whether you would like any existing spend data to be removed in the next VM file load.
- If Yes, please indicate the date range in which you would like spend data to be removed.
- If no, please select next and upload your file.
- Next, you will upload your data file. To do this, either click the uploader box and select the file you'd like to upload or simply drag and drop the data file into the uploader.
- Click Upload File.
When your file has been successfully uploaded, you'll see a pop-up confirmation message at the bottom of your screen and you will be redirected to the Upload main page. The file you uploaded will be listed in the Upload History table within the Upload page.
(Please note it can take some time for the upload to become visible in the "upload history" section)
