tealbook is designed to help buyers find the contacts they need at supplier and partner organizations. It makes it easy to find and manage your relationships with people.
Finding a Contact
If you have a Buyer role, you will see a link to Find or Manage your Contacts on the main menu.
This opens the Contact Search page. It opens by default to your contacts, and these are people that you are already connected to. If you want to look more broadly, click on Everyone.
The Contact Search page supports searching and filtering to find a contact:
Search: The Search field can be used to search for a person using their name, position or company.
Filters: You can filter by location, role (either buyer or supplier), the visibility of the contact (public: yes/no) and the source of contacts (manual or mobile).
Each entry in the list provides an overview of the person and your relationship to them:
Name: Click on the name to open the individual profile page for the person.
Icons: Hover over the icons to see what each one means. They show how you are related to the person and their roles.
Contact Information: Email, phone number and address for the person, where available.
Colleagues: This shows you which of your colleagues, if any, are connected to the person.
Disconnecting from a Contact
If you are connected to a contact, you will see a disconnect button next to them in the list. Click the button to disconnect.
Connecting to a Contact
If you loaded your contacts through the phone app, you will automatically be connected to them. If you are not connected to a contact, you will see a Connect button next to them in the list. Click it to connect.
Messaging a Contact
To message a contact, click the Message icon next to them in the list. If they fail to read the message within their configured notification period, they will receive an email connecting them to the message.
