The Supplier portal

Functionalities within the TealBook supplier data platform are available in three different user portals: Buyer, Supplier, and Admin. Each of the user portals allow users to see and experience TealBook features and functionalities from different perspectives.

All users of the TealBook gain access to the Supplier portal as soon as they register a new account on the platform. The Supplier portal allows organization to showcase their business and become discoverable by potential customers. Suppliers are invited to provide a short description as well as a detailed description of their business, products, and service. 

If this is not your account's default portal, you can navigate this site by clicking the portal selector menu on the left of the header next to the TealBook logo and selecting Supplier.

As a supplier on TealBook, you have the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to diverse and sustainable procurement practices to your potential clients. You'll also be able to respond to RFIs, securely upload spend data for Tier 2 Diversity reporting, and respond to the sustainability survey. 

Company

When you log in to your Supplier portal on TealBook, the screen will open to the Company page by default. The Company page is where your supplier profile is displayed. When customers and potential buyers click on your company in their supplier search, they will be directed to your supplier profile.

The top of the page includes your company's logo, basic contact information, and a short description of your organization.

The About Us section gives you an opportunity to include more information and marketing material to showcase your business. You can include photos and videos as well. 

What we are known for is a section where you can include your business skillset. These tags are discoverable during customers' supplier search so make sure you include tags that represent your business.

What differentiates us lets you add discoverable keywords that can make your business stand out.

Locations section lists all your company's locations that our system found from publicly available information. The first address listed, marked with a teal star, is assumed as your primary location or headquarters. Click on the address to edit them of add a new address in the field provided below the known addresses.

Our Team lists your organization's team members who are on TealBook. You can invite more colleagues by typing their name or email address in the provided field.

Sustainability Survey is your access point to completing or reviewing your answers to the sustainability survey.

Qualifications lists your organizations diversity and sustainability qualifications as well as the agencies that provided the certification. You can add your certifications by clicking the dropdown list below Add a Certification and following the on-screen prompts.

You can add links to additional information about your company in the Resources section.

Make sure that you populate information on this page so that your organization is more easily discoverable by potential customers.

RFI

The RFI page lists all the RFIs sent to you by customers. Within this page, you can view and respond to RFIs and provide a detailed proposal when requested. 

Insight

The Insight page provides you with an overview of your organization's profile statistics. It also gives you details on how your profile is performing in customers' supplier search and discovery. 

Diversity

The Diversity page becomes visible to suppliers who have been invited to provide spend data for Tier 2 Diversity reporting. This tab provides a secure environment where you can add your spend data and allocate Tier 2 diverse spend to your customers who requested the information.

News

The News page is where you can post news articles about your organization and read articles posted by your colleagues and your suppliers.

Communities

Communities provides a platform for buyers and suppliers to communicate about specific topics.

Suppliers

If you have Buyer access on TealBook, you will have access to the Suppliers page within your Supplier portal. This page is the same as the Suppliers page in the Buyer portal. 

Icons

There are three additional icons on the navigation bar beside your profile photo that provides added functionalities. These icons are accessible from all the user portals.

• Contacts – allows you to manage your contacts including searching for and connecting with new contacts.
• Messaging – allows you to chat with other TealBook users on your contacts list.
• Knowledge Base – takes you to here, to TealBook's Help Center.
