TealBook's supplier outreach functionality allows users to easily track and manage requests made to suppliers. You can find this feature by navigating to the Insight tab inside of TealBook's supplier intelligence app. From the Insight tab, click on Supplier Outreach.
The fields are broken out by Open Requests and Closed Requests. Users can also use the Search box in each section to easily find specific suppliers.
Filter by Request Types
In the Open Request section on the top right, click the "All Request Types" to view the different types of requests. They include Self-Certify and Contract Renewal. Read below to learn how to best use each of these features:
Self-Certify
These requests are made on the individual supplier profile. To learn how to send a request to self-certify click here. This indicates when the request was made, the Supplier name, and the individual email. The actions the user can take to manage these requests are the following:
- Close Request As Non Responsive
- Resend the Invitation
- View Communication History
These actions make it easy for the user to mange the requests made to the suppliers to self-certify and reach out when necessary. The communication with the supplier takes users to the chat function where the messages are stored and managed.
Contract Renewal
These requests are auto-populated based on the contract expiration date. It is default to generate a request and change the contract status to Priority at 90 days before the contract is about to expire, but the setting can be changed to 30 or 60 days. To make changes to the setting please reach out to your customer success manager to adjust.
The actions the user can take to manage these requests are the following:
- Upload New Contract
- Contact Supplier
- Close Request
These actions make it easy for the user to manage the requests made to the suppliers to renew contracts, keep track of any updates, and directly message the supplier.
