The partnership with SAP Ariba and TealBook empowers SAP Ariba users to make decisions that support their organization’s diversity programs. By leveraging TealBook’s supplier intelligence foundation, SAP Ariba users will have access to supplier diversity data that can be used drive strategic procurement programs.
Integration enablement and pre-requisites
TealBook
In order to navigate to the required functionalities, a user must have Buyer Admin privileges in TealBook and their organization’s account must be enabled for SAP Ariba integration.
SAP Ariba
A user must have Admin privileges to access SM Administration in SAP Ariba.
Diversity enriched modules from TealBook to SAP Ariba flows through Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP) and Supplier Risk and is viewable through SLP, Supplier Risk, and Guided Buying. An SAP Ariba user must have access to either SLP, Supplier Risk, or Guided Buying to access the enriched diversity data.
Process
The integration process has four key steps:

Integration enablement.
The user’s TealBook account is enabled for SAP Ariba integration. -
Diversity category sync.
The diversity categories between SAP Ariba and TealBook are synced. -
Supplier data enrichment.
The user exports their supplier list from SAP Ariba, uploads it to TealBook for enrichment. - Enriched data import to SAP Ariba.
The user downloads the enriched supplier list and imports the data to SAP Ariba.
Once enriched, supplier diversity information from TealBook will be available in SAP Ariba supplier profiles, Supplier 360° reports, and as diversity tags for non-catalog purchases in Guided Buying. Users are also able to configure filters within SAP Ariba's SLP to search for diverse suppliers within their organization's vendor master.
With TealBook supplier diversity enrichment, SAP Ariba users can leverage diverse suppliers from within their own vendor master to drive supplier diversity strategies.
